I sure could have used some emergency lighting last night. I was having a dream, well a nightmare of sorts. Not the scary kinds that make you wake up in a cold sweat, but the kind where you suddenly realize that you are in class with only your pajamas on. Those are the worst types of dreams. With a scary dream, you can wake up and feel the comfort of knowing you are in your own home and are safe from the terror of the boogie man. The other kind of nightmare, which I like to call the embarrassment dream, there is no escaping the feeling. The embarrassment lingers on all day and you find yourself constantly checking your clothing to make sure you have dressed correctly. It is a reminder of how vulnerable you can be. Life is hard enough as it is, but at some point, every one of us has a moment that they wish they could take back. A redo of sorts. Time to re-shoot the scene, with the proper lighting of course …. emergency lighting! That way you can make sure your best features are highlighted and that however may view you would be sure to see your best side.
